The first Toronto International Dragon Dragon Boat Festival (TIDBRF) was held in 1989, the TIDBRF has gradually developed into the largest dragon boat race event in the past two decades. It continues to be one of the most famous Dragons Boat Festivals in the history of North America.
The 34th Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival (TIDBRF) took place at the Toronto Centre Island on June 18th, 2022. Avanessy Giordano Law was honoured to join the race to help raise financial support for the Scarborough Health Network Foundation (SHN), which will contribute strongly to actively expanding the Scarborough community.
Two of our associate lawyers, Nima Azizi and Antonia Hristova, participated in the competition and assisted in our first-place victory. The race brought a novel experience to our team, and it was an honourable feeling to have raised money for our healthcare community.
