Leila Shimi is a licensed paralegal who joined the firm in December 2021.
She is dedicated to providing her clients with efficient guidance throughout the entire process of claiming Accident Benefits. Leila started her legal career in 2020 as a law clerk where she gained valuable experience in civil litigation, family law, and employment and labor law.
Leila graduated from the Paralegal (Accelerated) Program at Seneca College where she also received her certification in Alternate Dispute Resolution. Her previous experience and education have enabled her to acquire the necessary skills to successfully settle claims ranging in size and complexity.
Leila knows that her clients are often struggling to put the pieces of their lives back together after an accident and strives to handle every one of her files with compassion. She works closely with her clients, medical personnel and insurance companies to achieve maximum success.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and playing football.
